Rearing and Breeder Farms

Bellevue Chix operates seven owned and two contract farms where parent flocks are reared and grown. Since 2023 we are fully Ross and all the eggs produced are used at our own hatcheries.

Hatcheries

We own and operate two hatcheries in the Western Cape and two hatcheries in Gauteng/Nort West provinces with a combined set capacity in excess of 1.8m hatching eggs per week. From here chicks are distributed nationally to our own and customer broiler farms.

Broiler Farms

Under the Tydstroom brand we also own and manage eleven broiler farms across the country that supply live birds to contract customers.
